Karl is from Liverpool in England. He was trained at The Meyerside Dance Center and Dorcen Bird College of Performing Arts, he graduated from the later one in 1993.
He started in Cats in UK tour, then he joined the Hamburg company of Cats. There he played the role of Mr.Mistoffelees. Then he came to London, where he played Carbucketty, Mr.Mistoffelees, and Mungojerrie.
His credits: The Drummer Boy in Graduation Ball, Ravel's Bolero, and Children's Royal Varicty Performance.
His is currently playing in Candide at the National Theatre in England.
