Susan is the original CATS cast in London along with Elaine Paige.
Theatre Credits: "All's
Well" on tour and on Broadway; "The Voysey Inheritance" (Manchester
Royal Exchange Theatre)
She was in "The Mysteries" and she also played Jacques in "As You Like
It" (Liverpool Everyman theatre); She did a one-woman show "Feminine
Singular (Contact Theatre); "Top Girls" (Sherman, Cardiff);
"Crimes Of The Heart"(Everyman, Cheltenham); She played Queen Charlotte in
"The Madness Of King George III" and she played Mrs.Malaprop in "The
Rivals" (both shows at the Theatre Royal, York); "The School For
Wives" (Guildford); "Habeas Corpus" (Grand Theatre, Swansea).
Musical Theatre Work: Miss Pross in "A Tale Of Two Cities" (Theatre Royal, Windsor); Mrs Lovett in "Sweeney Todd"; She created the role of Madame Thernardier in "Les Miserables" (Barbican Centre/Palace Theatre); Anne Graham in "Annie" (Connaught Theatre, Worthing); The first ever Jellylorum/Griddlebone in "Cats" (New London Theatre); She has also played the lead role in "Calamity Jane".
TV and video: "Dead On Time"; "Inspector Morse" ; "All Good Things" (BBC1); "Looking After No.1" (BBC2); Jellylorum in the film version of "Cats".
News: She's in Hard Times at the Royal Haymarket Theatre in London.
With the Royal Shakespeare Company she performed at Stratford and on tour in
"The Beggars Opera", "Peter Pan", "Poppy", "The Witch
Of Edmonton", "As You Like It", "Romeo and Juliet", "Derek
And The Dream Odyssey".
She has toured with the Birmingham Repertory and Manchester Library Theatre.
She was on tour with Raquel Welch in "The Millionairess" and then with
Diana Rigg in "Mother Courage" (Royal National Theatre).
