She is very fond of moon which is very important to Jellicles, when she sings, she always looks at the moon, and the expression on her face is so lovable.

Jemima encourages Grizabella to show her grief to Jellicles through her beautiful singing, she is pure and innocent as Victoria, she doesn't hate Grizabella, either.

She is a fan of Rum Tum Tugger, too. Rum Tum Tugger flirts with her when he first shows up, and she is very excited about that. Her best friends are Victoria, Electra and Etcetera. She dances with Victoria in the beginning of "The Jellicle Ball", she is not specially fond with which male, but some people think she likes Mistoffelees, well, I don't think so.

When she sings part of "Memory" during the song "The moments of happiness", she is with Coricopat and Tantomile. In Act Two, her fantastic singing shows, she doesn't sing much in Act One.

In some productions, her name is known as Sillabub.
