Demeter's fear

'....I hope its over, but i don't know if it will ever be. I have this
feeling...This intuition....that he'll be back....'
Demeter looked back at her neatly formed words and shut her journal. She tossed it back into her oven and streched out on a pipe. She had just closed
her eyes when..
"Hey Dem, what's shakin?"
Demeter opened her eyes. It was Rum Tum Tugger. She sat up.
"Hey, Tugger. What's up?" she asked
"Have you seen that sweet sister of yours?" he asked.
Demeter rolled her eyes and laughed "I think she went over to see Jellylorum.
Something about a new collar Jelly was making for her..."
Tugger smiled and smoothed his fur. "Alright then...I'll head over there.
See ya, doll!" he said
Demeter made a face. What did she look like? Barbie? She streched out again and tried to sleep. Then, she felt a tap on the shoulder. She opened her eyes and saw a large male cat before her. A ginger cat!
She screamed and Macavity covered her mouth. He lifted her up and began to run out of the junkyard. Luckily, Alonzo saw them and quickly yelled for help. Within seconds, about 7 toms surrounded Macavity and Demeter.
"Put her down, Macavity!" Rum Tum Tugger said
"Yeah...an' no funny stuff!" Mungojerrie added.
Macavity laughed evily. "of course I'll put her down" he said. Then, he threw her into a wall. She landed helplessly on the ground.
The toms became enraged! One of them, however, was beyond enraged.
Munkustrap. He quickly ran towards Macavity and jumped on his back.
"I'll kill you Macavity!" he yelled, scratching and biting at the cat.
The other toms stayed on the side, for backup, and Tugger ran to Demeter, who was
coming to her senses.
"Demeter! Are you alright?" he asked, concerned.
She nodded, painfully, and looked towards the fight. Terror suddenly filled her eyes.
"M-M-Munkustrap!" she whispered
Tugger put an arm around her and tried to calm her down. She kept her eyes glued to the battle. Suddenly, Macavity threw Munkustrap off with all his might, which sent Munkustrap straight to the ground.
"MUNKUSTRAP!" she shouted, becoming extremely angry. She jumped out of
Tugger's grasp and ran to Macavity.
"I HATE YOU!" she cried "YOU'RE DEAD!" she began to scratch, bate and punch
as hard as she could, until Macavity staggered in pain and ran out of the junkyard. Then she ran to Munkustrap.
"Munku!" she cried
he did not answer her. Plato came to her and began to pull her away.
"NO!" she cried "LEAVE ME HERE!"
Plato quickly let go of her and stepped back. Tugger gave him a look and whispered "Be careful man, she's one strong babe."
Demeter grabbed Munkustrap's hand and began to cry.
"Oh, Munku! I Love you so much. If only I had told you! I don't want to live without you in my life....I just can't! Oh, Munku!" she whispered loudly, and laid her head on Munkustrap's chest, crying.
Suddenly, she heard a moan and her head rose. She saw him breathing.
"MUNKUSTRAP!" she yelled happily, hugging and nuzzling him.
He smiled painfully. "thank goodness you're okay..." he said "I Love you too much for words..."
She gently dropped her head and licked his nose. She happily snuggled close to him and smiled.
